Overview

ShutterBridge is firmware for an ESP32-S3 board. It connects over Bluetooth LE to a DJI or GoPro action camera and talks to a Betaflight flight controller over MSP. The camera’s status is drawn on your OSD, and RC switch positions are mapped to camera actions like record, photo and mode switch.

How it works

• Camera link - Bluetooth LE to the action camera (DJI DUML/R-SDK or Open GoPro).
• FC link - MSP over a spare UART to Betaflight.
• OSD - record state, battery, SD and timers are pushed onto the goggles feed.
• Actions - RC switches trigger record, photo and photo/video mode.
